Be Prepared to Book a Job
So, you say you are an actor, So you say you are a model... and you are already being sent out to auditions and go-sees. As a talent and or model, you would have the most updated headshot/comp card along with a properly attached resume that reflects the agents' contact information, not any of your personal info. Sorry folks, just the way it goes when you work with an agent!
But going back for a moment to the original thought of headshots and resumes...YOU MUST HAVE ONE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES!!!
This is not 5th grade. You cannot be a professional and not have your headshot and a resume, or comp card with you. Keep them in your trunk, your oversized pocketbooks, your back pocket. It doesn’t matter. It only matters when clients call us back after your audition and or go-see and say, "Your talent is not that professional," they came in unprepared. No headshot, no comp, no attached resume. Now, how can you prepare yourself for the next possible audition and go-see you have coming up??
Want to book the job? Want to book any job? It’s pretty simple, be prepared. Most bookings and most success in life is happens when a few things meet, two of them are being prepared and a bit of luck. So good luck and remember, always have your headshot and attached resume with you.
